Our – Return & Refund Policy
At Mboa Min Market, we take great pride in the quality and authenticity of our products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.
1. Perishable Goods (Fresh Food)
Due to health and safety regulations, as well as the nature of fresh produce:
Fresh Items: (Yams, plantains, fresh vegetables, meat/fish) can only be returned or exchanged if reported within 24 hours of purchase.
Condition: The item must be brought back to the shop with the original receipt. We will offer an exchange or store credit if the product is found to be below our quality standards.
2. Packaged & Dry Goods
For non-perishable items (spices, canned goods, grains, flours, bottled oils):
Return Window: You have 7 days from the date of purchase to return an item.
Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
3. Proof of Purchase
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds or exchanges without a valid receipt.
4. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:
Items that have been opened or partially consumed.
Items purchased on “Clearance” or “Final Sale.”
Frozen goods that have been thawed.
5. Refunds & Exchanges
Exchanges: If an item is defective or damaged upon purchase, we will happily exchange it for the same item.
Refunds: Approved refunds for dry goods will be processed via your original payment method or issued as store credit, depending on the situation.
How to display this:
At the Counter: Keep a printed copy near the register.
On the Receipt: Add a small note at the bottom, such as: “Returns accepted on dry goods within 7 days with receipt. Perishables must be reported within 24 hours.”
